I used to love this place and swore they were honest until I called for an estimate for a tuneup on my Honda Accord and they said 350.00 that's insane I spent 71.00 on parts took me 40 minutes to complete job switched out spark plugs and air filter SMDH so I was pretty much getting robbed over 200.00

I would not recommend Brakes n Axels. I brought my vehicle in multiple times for the exact same issue, and instead of properly diagnosing the problem, they kept replacing parts and billing me each time while the issue continued. It felt more like guesswork than competent repair work. I eventually took the vehicle to another mechanic, who quickly identified the actual root cause and repaired it for a fraction of the cost I had already spent at this shop. To make matters worse, the second mechanic also found defective work from Brakes n Axels that is now causing additional issues. Paying repeatedly for unsuccessful repairs is frustrating enough, but finding out that previous work was poorly done makes it even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I Would not Use this shop ever again if my car broke down and it was the last shop on earth, I would junk my car and walk for the rest of my life before I spent my money here people please beware do your research. They are also rated as an F with a Better Business Bureau

I took my car to this shop in November 2025 for a tune up. My car was at this shop until March 13 2026. They tore my engine up. I drove my vehicle on to this repair shop but I had to tow my vehicle at my expense to another shop because it was not drivable after they damaged it. Now the only way to repair my car is to replace the engine. I called the owner and he claims he spent so much money trying to fix my car but I've seen no proof of that. He offered no resolution. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP.

Taken our cars here a few times and they were always quick and had good pricing. This is why they get any stars. I had my rotors done 2 months back and my brakes recently became really squishy and rattled. I crawled under my vehicle and found a caliper bolt completely missing and the second barely threaded in (the weight of the caliper was holding it in). The only explanation was the tech hand threaded these on but never tightened them w a wrench. Completely unacceptable and dangerous!

Went there yesterday to have a HID Xenon light bulb replaced in my Jeep Cherokee. Other shops in town didn't even want to touch it! I pulled up and the guys immediately replaced the bulb in 10 minutes! Phenomenal guys and service! I will definitely go here when a problem arises with my vehicles. Thanks again guys.
